Shipping and Returns

  • Inspection and Acceptance
    • It is the purchaser’s responsibility to inspect and sort all materials before installation. Installation constitutes acceptance of materials. No claims will be accepted after installation.
  • Installation Recommendations
    • Use of leveling spacers for plank and rectangular tiles is recommended. Dry-laying tiles before installation ensures customer satisfaction.
  • Material Defects
    • Cancos is not responsible for defects in color, shade, or materials after installation unless deemed defective by a Cancos representative.
  • Shade Variations
    • Shade variations are inherent in ceramic tiles, natural stone, and grout. Actual tiles may differ from showroom samples. Ensure satisfaction before installation.
  • Return Location and Hours
    • Returns are accepted at our main warehouses (Farmingville, Hicksville, North Brunswick) during warehouse hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
  • Return Requirements
    • Returns must be within 30 days of purchase with a sales receipt. Materials must be returned in full, in original packaging (cartons), and undamaged.
  • Restocking and Handling Fees
    • Wholesale returns: 20% restocking fee.
    • Retail returns: 10% handling fee.
    • Customer pays shipping fees unless otherwise specified.
  • Refunds
    • Refunds will be processed to the original form of payment. Cash refunds over $50 will be issued by check, with a 14-day processing time.
  • Items Not Eligible for Refund/Exchange
    • Marble and Granite, Custom Fabrication, Grout, Calk, Setting Materials, Special Order Items, Final Sale Items, Natural Stone Slabs, Porcelain Slabs.
  • Freight & Handling Charges
    • Charges are non-refundable and will be added to sales orders or invoices.
  • Estimation of Freight Charges
    • Freight charges are subject to change at the time of shipment.
  • Re-delivery & Storage Fees
    • Re-delivery and storage fees apply if a scheduled delivery cannot be accepted.
  • Changes to Delivery Address
    • Changes after shipment release may incur additional fees.
  • FOB Shipping Point
    • Shipments are FOB shipping point unless otherwise specified.
  • Claims for Incorrect or Damaged Materials
    • Claims for incorrect or damaged materials must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Customer Pickup & Freight
    • Customer pickups are FOB at the point of pickup unless otherwise stated.
  • Large Volume Factory-Direct Shipments
    • Large-volume orders are FOB shipping point.
  • Payment & Delivery Scheduling
    • Delivery will be scheduled once agreements are signed and payment is received.
